Scout Camps in Arizona
The Gold Bar Ranch Scout Camp provides an unforgettable adventure for boy and girl scouts of all ages among hundreds of acres of rugged, rocky trails along the Hassayampa River and the Bradshaw Mountains.
The Gold Bar Ranch provides clean bathroom facilities, hot showers, spacous campgrounds and fun activities that allow scouts work on a number of different merit badges. Activities at the Gold Bar Ranch Scout camp include a wide variety of old west activities that give all scouts a taste of what it is like to live and work on a real cattle ranch during the wild, wild west.
Scout leaders can chose from a wide variety of fun activities including horseback riding, fishing in privately stocked fishing ponds, backpacking to old ghost towns, gold mines and ancient indian ruins, panning for gold, building campfires, eating spit fire roasted pig or chuckwagon barbecue dinner and enjoying a relaxing weekend of fun in the elevated foothills of the Bradshaw Moutains, where the temperatures are about 15-20 degrees cooler than Phoenix.
