Jeep 4×4 Off Road Tours

If you have a might 4×4 and are looking for the next big challenge, you should plan a trip to the Gold Bar Ranch. We provide a 4×4 offroad adventure that would make most jeep people wince.

Our campground, RV park and bed and breakfast is located on the backway into Crown King.

We can take your group on a guided 4×4 tour, ATV ride or horseback ride up the backside of the mountain to Crown King. It is a very rough ride, but the saloon and restaurant at the top of the mountain make the trip worth it.

Crown King is a famous ghost town that used to serve as a brothel for the mining towns back in the 1870s. It is great historic spot to visit, eat lunch, have a cold drink and head back down the mountain to camp.

The elevation of our ranch is 4,000 ft., which means that our temperatures are about 15-20 degrees cooler than Phoenix. So if you’re looking fora great way to beat the Arizona heat and plan some fun activities
for your group, our ranch can provide a cool environment for your members to enjoy Arizona’s great outdoors.

We provide a wide variety of facilities that appeal to every groupof outdoor adventurers.  We have a nice bed and breakfast bunchhousefor the Hilton crowd. We have  spots for RV campers. And we have lots of campsites for people who like to camp.  All facilitiescome complete with clean sit down restrooms and hot showers.  The ladies are very pleased with our facilities.

We have a ton of fun activities for your group members to enjoy. You can pan for gold in the Hassayampa River that runs through our property, fish in our stocked fishing pond (no license required), swim in our
old fashioned swimming hole complete with rope swing, take an open range horseback ride, explore old gold mines, pioneer cemeteries, historic indian ruins, ride ATVs and eat an old fashioned BBQ
and pig roast.

We also have volley ball courts, a golf ball driving range, a horseshoe pit, horseback riding,
and many other fun activities. Google the “Gold Bar Ranch” for more details.

If you bring a group of 10 or more people out, we treat the organizer to one campsite and one 1-hour horseback ride for free, an $80 deal, which should give you an incentive to check us out!

We have worked with numerous meetup groups, such as the Arizona Camping Club and the East Valley Singles group and can provide references if needed.  These groups like the fact that for $80 per person,
they can camp for a weekend and let us do all the cooking and cleaning for them.  A great way to relax for a weekend in the mountains.

Price: $80 for two days of camping and 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1pig roast dinner.
